Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.

1John 3.8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sined from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

If, after we are baptized, we continue to live after the flesh, sin continues in our bodies; but if we live after the Spirit, we sin no more; because we live  in Him, and in His victory. (Rom.8.1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.) [If your version of the bible does not have the last part of this verse; see study on 'Different Bibles' on www.to-the-bodyofchrist.com]

This is the battle that most of us face: the labour to enter into His rest, and abide (constantly) in Him, (in Spirit and in Truth), and in His victory over the enemy. (see study on 'Resting in the Lord' on www.to-the-bodyofchrist.com

1John 3.1 Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not.    2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.   3 And every man that has this hope in Him purifies himself, even as He is pure.   4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the trangression of the law.   5 And we know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.   6 Whosoever abides in Him sins not: whosoever sins has not seen (perceived) Him, neither knows (understands) Him. (see study on 'Come and See' on this web-site.)

We are to live each moment of our lives in Him; abiding in Him, and having the mind of Christ; not following our own understanding of theological denominational doctrine about Him, but following Him, in Spirit and in Truth.

Not being seperated from each other by denominational doctrines, but being in the unity of the Body of Christ; in His ever-presence, in His Spirit, in His Truth, in His resurrected life, in His victory.

Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.

Hallelujah!
